Any individual or organisation interested in, or concerned with, the energy transition, and who accepts the ISETS Constitution, is welcome to apply for ISETS membership.

All members of the Society are entitled to participate in activities (including, but not limited to, conferences, workshops and social events) and to access the Society’s publications, subject to the payment of fees as determined by the Committee.

ISETS members may be admitted into one of the following categories:

For individuals

ISETS offers three categories of individual membership, designed to support broad participation while recognising different levels of engagement and contribution to the Society:

Associate Member (Complimentary)

Associate Membership is automatically granted upon registration via the ISETS website. It is open to all individuals with an interest in the energy transition and provides an accessible entry point to the ISETS global network.

Ordinary Member (Fee-Paying)

ISETS welcomes individuals to join as fee‑paying Ordinary Members, effective immediately. This approach aligns with international practices among professional societies and supports the long‑term sustainability and development of ISETS initiatives.

A concession rate is available for individuals from Least Developed Countries (LDCs). Eligible applicants are invited to contact the ISETS Secretariat for further information.

Delegate Member

Delegate Membership is a special category recognising individuals who have made significant voluntary contributions to ISETS. Delegate status is granted by the Delegate Selection Committee through a nomination process, as defined by the Society.

For organisations

Institutional Members are organisations that pay the institutional membership fee. Institutional Members may participate in ISETS events and collaborations, and may also be listed as sponsors or strategic partners.
